Concert Overview:
\n<\/strong>This concert features a contrast in musical styles across different historical periods. Mozart\u2019s 4th<\/sup> Violin Concerto, composed during the Classical period in Salzburg, showcases beautiful melodies and virtuosic playing by the soloist. Debussy and Ravel, early Modernist composers in Paris, in contrast used the orchestra to create moods and atmospheres. Presenting Debussy and Ravel alongside Mozart shows the progression in musical expression from structured elegance to more evocative harmonies.<\/p>\n
